When we call to a house about the stairs, the conversation often wanders. Standing up from the armchair has got harder; the bath feels risky; the front step is awkward with a walking frame; the shops seem further away than they used to. None of these problems is unusual, and most have a simple answer. Stairlift Solutions can help with all of that, so you are not juggling a different supplier for every room.
As a family business based locally, we work from an office in Newtownards, Co. Down, and our customers are spread right through Northern Ireland. On the stairs, our job includes:
Lifts are available for straight or curved stairs, for use inside or out, and you can choose new, reconditioned or ex-rental. Around the rest of the house, we can provide riser recliners from Royams, scooters, wheelchairs both manual and powered, rollators and bathroom and toilet aids from Coopers, and portable ramps for doorsteps.
Begin with a FREE survey at home. Someone with plenty of experience from our team will check the staircase and explain what it shows, and while they are there, feel free to point out any other part of the house that is causing difficulty. Sorting several things in one visit saves time, and it often means the pieces of equipment work better together.
Every stairlift is backed by a full warranty, and you can ring our customer care line 24/7. We supply good quality equipment and charge reasonable prices. Give us a call on 02891 882249 and we will come out to see you.
Some of the Northern Ireland towns we deliver and install in: Newry, Armagh, Portadown, Lurgan, Banbridge, Downpatrick, Newcastle, Comber, Holywood, Belfast, Antrim, Ballymena, Ballycastle, Magherafelt, Strabane, Limavady.
Brooks Slimline Stairlifts
Hall and landing, straight flight: the Brooks Slimline. Durable and reliable, it frequently comes to us for reconditioning. Operated by remote, it pulls away and halts gently, and the DC batteries charge without you thinking about it each time a trip ends.
Brooks 180 Curved Stairlifts
Hall and landing, curved flight: the Brooks 180. Designed with bends in mind, it can run around the inner side of the curve or the outer side, and keeps the reliability and features of Brooks's straight lifts.
HomeGlide Stairlifts
A very competitive price for straight stairs. HomeGlide is a no-frills lift with the basics done well: tough, safe, reliable, and fitted swiftly. It travels up and down in near silence. We supply and install HomeGlide across Northern Ireland.
HomeGlide Extra Stairlifts
Prefer some luxury on a straight staircase? The HomeGlide Extra adds options, a fabric and colour of your choosing, and a neat, graceful chair. Its aluminium rail fixes to the stairs cleanly so it never dominates the hall. Talk to our specialists about having one fitted.
Flow X Curved Stairlifts
From ThyssenKrupp comes the Flow X, follow-up to the much-awarded Flow 2A and rated a world leader among stairlifts. It combines modern technology with German engineering, and because it uses a single rail it can go on practically any staircase, home or business.
Bespoke Synergy
Small in size, big on detail: the Bespoke Synergy is a straight lift that is simple to drive and hides its features neatly. Few rails in the world are slimmer, so it leaves your hallway feeling uncluttered.
Bespoke Infinity
For curving stairs, the Bespoke Infinity gives British comfort and craftsmanship and lets you move around your home independently, needing only minimal help. Parts are warranted for 2 years as standard, and our experts advise on and install it anywhere in Northern Ireland.
Acorn Stairlifts
Acorn has a big following among people buying reconditioned lifts, and it is a familiar make. With a plain, sensible design it is easy to operate and to keep in good order, and the quality is excellent.
Reconditioned Stairlifts
Reconditioned straight lifts start at £950 including fitting. These are our own lifts, bought back and fully serviced, checked, tested and cleaned before they are refitted, and the majority look new. Every price depends on age, condition and whatever warranty applies.
Rental Stairlifts
Some households need a lift only for a few months. For them we offer rental on a 6 month or a 12 month basis, and at the end the stairlift simply goes back.
Outdoor Stairlifts
Garden steps or a straight path up to the door? We fit a Brooks lift designed for outside. It operates in the same way as the indoor Brooks, with weatherproof components and a durable plastic cover against snow, heat, rain and light. For homes and businesses.
Extended Warranties
Extend your warranty and breakdowns or surprise repairs are covered. It is seldom needed, as our lifts are highly reliable, but owners value the peace of mind, and our after-sales team is reachable 24/7.
Mobility Scooters
A scooter can make the shops, the park and visits to family easy again. Choose from our wide range, including Supascoota, Invacare and Sterling among other makes, and call our experts for help.
Riser Recliners
Living room: Royams riser recliners take the strain out of standing up. Royams is a British family firm approaching 40 years and offers a personal service. Petite, Standard or Kingsize chairs with Patented Lift and battery backup, many fabrics and frames, and a 5-year guarantee for motor and mechanisms. High seat chairs too.
Rollators
Out walking or around the kitchen, a Coopers rollator is light and steady. It is designed for comfort, safety and quality, comes in several models, sizes and colours, and we deliver it straight to the house.
Manual Wheelchairs
BREEZY standard manual wheelchairs: dependable, well made and easy to push or propel. Each folds, has a steel or aluminium frame, and is tested for stability on the move. We will help you choose.
Powered Wheelchairs
Powered wheelchairs bring independence indoors or out. They combine strong performance with tight manoeuvring, and you can choose from several drive bases, seating systems and expandable controls. Talk to us about which setup would work for you.
Ramps
Front door: a portable ramp can make a step passable for a wheelchair or scooter. Ours are built for daily use and most budgets, in carbon fibre, rubber, anodised aluminium or plastic, as light as possible with as much safe load as possible.
Bathroom Aids
Bathroom: with a Coopers aid, washing in the bath or under the shower becomes something you can manage alone, and safely. Look for the grippy, textured finish that stays secure when hands are wet, and the locks that stop it moving.
Toilet Aids
Toilet: practical continence and toileting aids made by Coopers, designed so you can remain independent in the most private room of the house. Ask about them at your free home survey or whenever you phone us.
